    • Great For Aggressive Chewers Our dog is an aggressive chewer and loves this Chicken flavor Nylabone. It cleans his teeth and he never seems to have any bad breath. I do have to pick up the pieces that he's chewed off but it satisfies his chewing urges. Since the price was reasonable and shipping was free I bought 4 of the to keep on hand.
    Doesn't just take a lickin' it holds up to the heaviest chewer Our two dogs are heavy chewers and these bones just last and last. They chew them down to a little nub of nothing but it takes many months.
    Chew This One of our Danes has eaten the couch and various other items. This is a very good chew toy and he chews it when he feels like it. Our little 14 pound mix likes to carry it around and chew on it.
    Dog loved it didn't last too long We got this for our black lab puppy. She is an aggressive chewer. She loved this bone so much so that she destroyed it. I don't recall exactly how long it lasted but only a couple months. We upgraded her to the
    Durable Nylabones are Less Durable Lately. These durable Nylabones seem to be somewhat less durable in the past couple years. I have an older Nylabone in the same flavor & size that my dog is still working at and it's still in good shape. But I've purchased two more in the past year in this and another flavor and each time the pieces of plastic come away too easily & quickly. By 20 minutes into chewing there are too many large pieces coming off and I have to take it away. Swallowing this stuff is not good. I think Nylabone might be intentionally making these LESS durable so that we'll have to buy them more often since the old ones lasted a lifetime.Also note that this item is indeed the newer textured version of the toy. I was hoping it wouldn't be but I couldn't find it in this flavor and size in the untextured and the description didn't mention it either way. My dog didn't seem to care either.As for all the Souper sized Nylabones I wish they'd make the same thing just a bit longer in length. My dog is very tall but with a long narrow snout. He doesn't like anything that's too big to easily get in his mouth like the big dog Nylabone toys. This toy is almost long enough for him to hold it well with his paws while chewing but not quite.
    The only thing that stands up to powerful chewers. These are the only bones that my Mastiff and beagle can keep around for their chewing needs. Most bones end up in rubber shreds on my carpet within ten minutes. These last a long time and the dogs simply LOVE them.
    Big dog chew Nylabone is still the best option if you want a great dog chew toy without the splinter dangers of real bones or a mess on your furniture and floors.
    Dog loves it This Nylabone is pretty much indestructible. My German Shepherd has been chewing on it for almost 9 months and it's still holding up. She loves chewing on it.
    Love it Our three Dobermans and Bulldog love this. However it is not the same on in the pic. The one I received had raised bumps and grooves which I think they enjoyed on their gums/mouth even better. I highly recommend this product.
    The only chew bone durable enough for a sled dog. I have an old Alaskan husky and he eats even the large Zoe and Greenie chews within a couple of minutes. This is the first commercial chew bone that he actually chews on as opposed to tearing it apart and swallowing. It's not terrifically attractive in fact he ignored it completely for a couple of days but now he chews on it regularly and it's definitely reducing tartar.

    • My dog isn't interested My 12 lb havanese was not interested in this at all. Size was okay. He loves the small nylabones and the dinosaur nylabone but not this one.
    Harley said he loves Amazon I purchased this for my dog for Christmas. It was a big hit. I thought the price was good and I bought two of themI have 3 dogs and they have a toy box with their toys and chews. On second thought I wish I had bought more of these.
    nylabone is terrible and dangerous Please search on nylabone product. There are dogs dying from this product. It can't be detected via radiograph and they die a terrible death. My own 2 dogs have suffered severe fractured teeth that needed unnecessary surgery for extraction causing great expense and risk to their health. One had critical complications. I can't urge enough to NOT purchase this nylabone product. There are many other products even real marrow bones that can be offered to your K9 to keep their teeth clean and bright. I also brush my dog's teeth daily and that's a great way to bond and keep your pet healthy.Nylabone should stop production for the safety and welfare of petsinstead of their monetary interest.
    Dog likes it! I have a 6 month old puppy a mix between a black retriever basically a golden retriever but completely black and a Labrador.I bought this item together with a small chewbone amazon item
    Not all dogs like them Not sure about being chicken flavored. I wouldn't know though since I have not tried it myself. My dog loves chicken but didn't want anything to do with this bone. It seems to be very durable & I wish he would have interest in it since there is little to no chance he would get choked like he did with a rawhide.
    Shredded in a Week My dog shredded this bone in 1 week. Ever wonder how the Nylabones are flavored? In the center core there is a spongey material that is soaked in some kind of flavoring agent. When I saw my dog eating the brown squishy sponge inside I took it from him and threw it in the trash.Not that this is a bad product. And I still buy Nylabones for my dog. But I have discovered that if you buy one or even two size bigger than recommended then your dog won't be able to shred the bone and the bones actually last much longer.
    the only bones I give to my dogs After having my two Basenjis eat one plastic bone after another I have found that this is the only bone that they can't get through. To be truthful they get through these too but very slowly. Amazon has them for about half the price of PetCo.
    Dumbest thing I've bought in years This bone is just a piece of solid very hard plastic. It may look like a bone to humans but my dog shows zero love for this item. I look around my house and the item that resembles this most is the power brick on my laptop. Followed by my remote controls and cell phone. Why would any owner want their pet to get used to eating plastic? The bone is going out with the trash.
    We love 'em! I always keep a variety of Nylabones in our home. It's a multidog household with a busy Lab mix running around and she loves her Nylabones. I'm a little picky and paranoid and I have a tendency to toss the bones out too soon according to my husband but our dear sweet Lab will eat anything and I don't want her eating tons of pieces off the ends when they are worn so I admit I likely do throw them out too soon. But Amazon has the best prices I have found for Nylabones and I would rather replace the things too soon than have other problems with them.I have used Nylabones for *years* and never had any broken teeth or other issues from them.
    all4selene My Fur baby 84lb Labgot a lot of new items and this is by far her favorite. She loves all Nylabones and this one is pretty durable. Most of the time she has the others chewed up pretty good within a day and this one is about a week old and is still in good shape.
